Super Jeep adventure to Askja. Experience the unique highland of Iceland in a super jeep with a private guide. We visit the country’s most famous caldera Askja and Víti explosion crater. As we come to Askja we will hike into the caldera and even get the chance to swim in the warm water of Víti. It is really an unforgettable experience to climb into Víti to bathe. On our return we take a different route from Askja and stop at Möðrudalur farm restaurant before coming back to Mývatn. The tour is available everyday upon request and starts at 7:30 at the Tourist Information Center in Reykjahlíð. The tour takes approx. 12 hours.
