Potturinn restaurant is one of the oldest restaurants in Iceland, operating without interruption since the 25th of March, 1982Potturinn og pannan (The Pot and the Pan) is a family friendly restaurant, popular for its relaxed atmosphere and delicious cooking, offered at reasonable prices.
In the summer of 2007 Potturinn og pannan opened a new restaurant by the highway, at Blönduós town, offering a pleasant stopover with recreational possibilities for children.
