Vidigerdi is a homelike restaurant and is stationed at highway nr. 1 in Hunavatnssysla County. Our main operation is food, fast and slow, along with accommodation. We are open all year round, but in the summer, as from April 1st – October 15th, we are open from 9 am – 11 pm. We offer the menu of the day, cutlets, beefsteaks, fish, soup, vegetable courses, vegetable burgers – try us, we might surprise you.
We offer 8 double bedrooms, without private facilities but with a private access to a common bathroom and WC, and a well equipped kitchen, a friendly living room with TV and reading material. Practice your Icelandic!
During summer 2010, we provide fishing licences in the lake Hopid as well as in the river Berga which is very close by. You can go horseback riding for 4 – 5 days around the mountain of Vididalur along with the accommodation in Vidigerdi. You can also go on a day‘s tour ef you prefer.
The community centre offers good facilities for get-together of all kinds, for instance if you feel like getting married in the inviting nature of Iceland.
