Fjallasýn is a family-run bus company specialized in organizing and providing a wide range of travel services that span from transportation to day tours and multi-day tours for private individuals and groups with or without tour guide. Our travel experts possess decades of experience in carrying out tours with a special focus on North Iceland, but we also have carried out numerous tours in other regions of Iceland, including round trips and tours to the highlands. Our vehicle fleet comprises coaches of different sizes and types, including highland suitable 4x4 buses, all of which are well equipped and reliable. We offer a wide range of transportation services, spanning from shuttle services for private individuals, companies and groups to multi-day bus tours. Flexibility is our strength; we customize all tours to the requirements of our customers, taking into consideration special interests and travel ideas. Most our group tours are customized in agreement with our customers, these range from day tours from cruise ships or excursions for schools and other institutions to fully or partially organized tours in cooperation with travel agencies. IceAk is a 3rd. generation family operated traveling company which specializes in Super Jeep tours from Akureyri and nearby locations all year around. We offer a variety of day tours to some of the most popular attractions in northern Iceland along with some more extreme off-road tours to places few others will go to. We can also arrange longer tours/excursions through our partners. We use 4-14 passenger specially modified jeeps in all our tours so that rough off road trails and snow become no real obstacle for us. Bakkaflöt is a family-owned company that started in 1987. We offer a variety of accommodations. We have a 22 room guesthouse that offers cozy cabin with en suite bathrooms, double or triple rooms with shared bathrooms. We also have two bigger cottages with cooking facilities.  We have a small heated swimming pool outside and two hot tubs. Other facilities include a TV lounge, terrace, restaurant and bar area.  Next to the river Svartá we have a beautiful campsite with good cooking facilities.  In 1994 we started the river rafting in East glacial river and West glacial river.  West glacial river, class 2. Family rafting:  Scenic ride down the majestic Glacial Canyon. We´ll make a stop for a delicious hot chocolate from a geothermal spring and another stop to jump off a cliff. Great experience for the whole family.  East glacial river, class 4. Extreme rafting:  East glacial river is by far one of the best 1-day rafting rivers in Europe. Enjoy a delicious traditional Icelandic meat soup after the tour. The Extrem rafting is a total bliss and we can guarantee you will get wet.  Sit on top kayak trip down the river Svartá is an enjoyable and scenic nature ride in the midnight sun.  On site: accommodation in cabins and our guesthouse, camping site, small swimming pool, hot tubs, restaurant and bar.   

Arctic Trip was founded in 2015 by Halla Ingolfsdottir, a highly experienced guide with over 20 years of experience in guiding travelers around North Iceland, in Eyjafjordur and in particular in Grímsey where she has spent most of her days. Although recently founded, Arctic Trip has been in the making for several years; collecting experience, making social and business connections, testing the natural elements and wildlife. Halla has a passion for storytelling and the outdoors and she and her team is very excited to welcome you to the remote island of Grímsey, to be on top of the world! Arctic Trip was founded with the mission that everybody should enjoy a relaxed stay, to nourish their mind. We believe people should spend their holiday renewing themselves and creating memories that will last a lifetime.
