The Snow Queen

Price description

2700isk pre-sale, 3000isk after 1st of December

Hans Christian Andersen's classic tale of friendship, love, and bravery, is beautifully reimagined in this thrilling adventure for the whole family.  Kari and Gerða are best friends who would do anything for each other. When Kari disappears one cold winter  night Gerda sets off on an epic journey through strange lands to the palace of the Snow Queen. The friends she makes along the way do what they can to help her, but only she can save Kari from the Snow Queen. Can she break the Snow Queen's enchantment before it is too late?

Adapted by award winning playwright and director, Greta Clough, and brought to life with breathtaking puppetry and a cast of off-beat characters, The Snow Queen is sure to delight the whole family this Christmas season.

Note: On 9th December, the show starts at 5pm.

Towns & Villages

Society and the economy have many faces. Whereas agriculture is the mainstay of rural areas, the towns depend upon fishing, industry, trade and a range of services, with each village having its own characteristics though they all prove hospitable hosts.
The availability of food and accommodation and the possibilities at every location for recreation and entertainment make hopping between the villages informative as well as fun.
In every case, the residents are lively and ready to celebrate.
