Iceberg in Eyjafjörður

We had a surprise “arctic” guest yesterday in Eyjafjörður fjord, just outside of Hrísey island. A 20-meter high iceberg came in and instantly became the main attraction for all those who were at sea, dethroning the whales for at least one day.

Visit Nort Iceland sent out its photographer, Rögnvaldur Már Helgason, on a whale (and iceberg) watching tour.
