At Klambrar there is a renovated stone house that was built in 1880-1885 and now has protected status. The county doctor lived there and it was also an apothecary and an infirmary. The name of the builder is not known, but stone houses like these are extremely rare in the Icelandic countryside. From Káraborg you walk along a distinct trail towards the east. After that the trail ends. Þröskuldur is a hill between Þrælsfells and Sótafells and from there you walk down Ormsdalur valley. The route ends next to the farm Klambrar in Vesturhóp.
