North East Iceland Pride Festival 2026

The North East Iceland Pride Festival will take place from June 19–21, 2026.

The festival aims to increase the visibility of the LGBTQ+ community and help foster an open, welcoming, and safe environment for both residents and visitors. It builds on the successful work that has been carried out in Hrísey, where the first Pride Festival was held in 2023.

The festival is organized through a collaboration between all municipalities in North East Iceland, the LGBTQ+ organization Hinsegin Norðurland, and the Hrísey Pride Festival. Together, the partners work to create a programme of events that takes place across the entire region.

The North East Iceland Pride Festival has received funding from the Regional Development Fund of North East Iceland.
