Sæludagur (Happy Day) is an annual family festival where residents and visitors come together to enjoy the very best the community has to offer.
The day is characterized by togetherness, joy, and a diverse program for all ages, including games, entertainment, a group horseback ride, a dance, a local market, and relaxing moments shared with neighbors and friends.
Sæludagurinn 2026 will take place on Saturday, June 20.
The festival’s goal is to strengthen community spirit and create lasting memories in the beautiful and peaceful surroundings of Hörgársveit.
