The story of Fire Saga, and now – possibly an Oscar? Today, the nominations for the 2021 Academy Awards were revealed. On the list is a familiar name for Icelanders, as the song named „Husavik“ after the town in North Iceland received a nomination for Best Original Song. The song from the move Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga has lifted the spirits of the locals from Húsavík and triggered interest from travellers all over the world, who look forward to visiting to this small and beautiful town in the future.

Recently, the locals have been pushing for this nomination. The only Óskar in town is looking forward to getting a new and shiny Oscar to the town.
