UK Eurovision contestants pay tribute to Húsavík with stunning performance

For this year's edition of Eurovision, participants were asked to perform a cover of a song of their choice. The contestants from the UK, Remember Monday, were in no doubt as they chose the epic song Húsavik (My Hometown) that was made famous in the Netflix movie Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga.

The song was nominated for an Academy Award and was performed and filmed at the harbour in Húsavík for the 2021 Oscars ceremony.
And now, just as then, a new video has been produced by locals at Húsvík in collaboration with the UK artists who flew to North Iceland to perform the song in the very town it was written about.
