A children's concert at Brimsalir, a community center located at Námuvegur 8 in Ólafsfjörður. One must drive quite a distance out along the harbor area to reach it direction north. A large sign will be placed near the venue to help clarify the location. Ólöf will perform the cello for children and people of all ages. She will tell about the German composer Johann Sebastian Bach and the musician Anna Magdalena Bach. Who were Mr. and Mrs. Bach? What was his childhood like? What is a minuet? Why was he so musical? What does a minuet sound like, and do Icelandic folk songs share any connection with the cello suites Bach composed?
