Olafsfjordur Music Festival 26th til 28th of June. Classical music and folk artist.
Friday 26th, 11am
'Bach & Breakfast' - Suite No. 5 in C minor, BWV 1011 by Johann Sebastian Bach. Ólöf Sigursveinsdóttir plays on baroque cello in Ólafsfjarðarkirkja. The performance lasts half an hour. After the concert, guests are offered a Nordic, homemade cheesecake and a cup of coffee.
Friday 26th, 8pm
‘On the wings of song across the land’ One of Iceland's most beloved singers, Diddú and Hrólfur Sæmundsson, will sing at the Tjarnarborg Cultural Center in Ólafsfjörður music from various countries Iceland, Italy, Czech Republic.
Saturday 27th, 8pm
'An Evening of verses' Svavar Knútur folk artist has been one of those artists who knows how to light up the hall with presence, warmth and touching music. He will do so in Ólafsfjörður Church on June 27th at 8:00 PM.
