Lykkjur í leyfi – Knitting Retreat in Húsavík with Thelma Steimann and Nanna from Knittable

Following a fantastic response and a sold-out event last time, Lykkjur í leyfi returns for another cosy knitting weekend, this time at Fosshotel Húsavík.

Leave everyday life behind and enjoy a weekend where knitting, good company and relaxation come together in the beautiful surroundings of Húsavík.

Throughout the weekend, Thelma Steimann and Nanna from Knittable will guide participants through a creative and relaxed programme, with opportunities to develop knitting skills, find new inspiration and spend time with fellow knitting enthusiasts.

Between knitting sessions and socialising, there will also be time to unwind at the GeoSea geothermal sea baths and enjoy the views across Skjálfandi Bay. Admission to GeoSea is included in the weekend package.

The weekend brings together creativity, good company and plenty of time to relax and recharge in Húsavík.

During the knitting sessions, participants can take part in short workshops and/or presentations offering an insight into local knitting culture.

Those interested in joining the yoga session are encouraged to bring a yoga mat and suitable clothing. Thelma will lead a one-hour yoga session during the weekend.

If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the organisers reserve the right to cancel the retreat. In this case, participants will receive a full refund.

An accommodation tax of ISK 800 per room, per night applies and is not included in the package price. The tax will be charged separately at check-in.
