Oktoberfest Mývatn Öl 2026

Oktoberfest Mývatn Öl returns for its second year at Sel-Hótel Mývatn, taking place on October 30–31, 2026.

For one weekend, Sel-Hótel Mývatn will transform into a lively and colourful Bavarian-inspired beer festival, complete with lederhosen, flowing beer, live music and plenty of festive atmosphere. Expect a true Oktoberfest celebration with a distinctly Icelandic twist.

Breweries from across Iceland will be bringing a selection of their finest craft beers, ranging from classic lagers to creative and flavourful specialty brews.

Accommodation & Tickets

Please note that accommodation cannot be booked separately during the festival weekend. Sel-Hótel Mývatn offers special packages that include both hotel accommodation and admission to Oktoberfest. Packages can be booked through the Sel-Hótel Mývatn website.
