SIGLUFJÖRÐUR COMICS FESTIVAL
The Siglufjörður Comics Festival, quite possibly the northernmost comics festival in the world, returns for its third edition!
Join us for a weekend celebrating the art of comics, with an Artist Alley, exhibitions, talks, a children's workshop, festive bingo and karaoke taking place at various venues around Siglufjörður.
The festival brings together special guests and participating artists from both Iceland and abroad.

Jean Antoine Posocco
Jean Antoine Posocco is a French illustrator and comics artist. After illustrating numerous children's books and creating several comics, he went on to specialize in comics publishing.
For twenty years, he was involved in publishing the action comic Blek and played an important role in introducing and promoting comics in Iceland, including establishing some of the country's first courses in comic creation.
Today, he runs Froskur útgáfa, a publishing company responsible for publishing a large share of the comics released in Iceland.
Christopher Steininger
Christopher Steininger is a Canadian illustrator based in Germany. He is the artist behind the graphic novel adaptations of Silverwing, the animal fantasy series by bestselling author Kenneth Oppel. The latest instalment, Sunwing, will be published later this year by HarperCollins, Simon & Schuster and Guppy Books.
His other comics work includes Modo: Ember's End by Arthur Slade (Orca Publishers), Beowulf (Markosia) and Worlds of Dungeons & Dragons (Devil's Due).
Christopher has also worked in animation as a storyboard artist on productions including Marvel's Avengers Assemble, as well as creating concept art for games such as Warhammer 40,000 and Iron Maiden: Legacy of the Beast.
He is currently working on Firewing, the third instalment in the Silverwing series.
