Skúnaskrall – Öll saman, the Children's Culture Festival of Northwest Iceland, will take place from October 21 to November 4, and there's plenty to look forward to!
For two weeks, communities across Northwest Iceland will come alive with creativity, play and the arts, with events taking place throughout the region. Children will have opportunities to listen, watch, sing, dance, play, explore, create and express themselves in their own communities.
The festival focuses on culture for children, culture with children and culture created by children.
Every child has the right to experience culture and the arts. This right is even recognised in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, and where a child lives should never determine their access to creative and cultural experiences.
