The Solstice Run takes place in Vaðlaheiði in Eyjafjörður fjord on June 20, 2026. The race starts at the sports field in Svalbarðseyri, and all distances finish at the Forest Lagoon.
The event is organized by the youth association Ungmennafélagið Æskan and the Search and Rescue Team Týr as a fundraising event, in collaboration with Forest Lagoon.

- 14 km — 302 m elevation gain
- 26 km — 753 m elevation gain
- 38 km — 1,421 m elevation gain

*As the race is a fundraising event for UMF Æskan and the Týr Rescue Team, annual passes and similar memberships are not valid for admission to the baths during the event.
