LYST Summer & Beer Festival 2026
The LYST Summer & Beer Festival will take place on the weekend of 17–19 July in the Akureyri Botanical Garden.
This will be a weekend full of beer, food, music, and great atmosphere all across town — with LYST in the Botanical Garden as the main hub of the festival.
On Friday and Sunday, wristband holders will have access to happy hour offers at the best bars in Akureyri, as well as food deals at selected restaurants around town.
On Saturday, 18 July, from 13:00–18:00, Iceland’s top breweries will take over LYST with open taps, beer tastings, food service in the garden, a Hyalin pop-up shop, and live music throughout the day. Visitors will be able to sample a wide selection of beers from excellent breweries in a relaxed and enjoyable summer atmosphere.
In the evening, the LYST outdoor concert will take place, featuring Daði Freyr on stage together with Sturla Atlas. After the concert, the atmosphere continues at Leynihbar with Sturla Atlas.
A festival wristband grants access to beer tasting between 13:00–18:00 on Saturday, entry to the outdoor concert with Daði Freyr, and discounts across town throughout the weekend.
