Siglufjörður comes alive when the family festival Trilludagar takes place on Saturday, July 27.
Sailing, grilled seafood, and fun at the harbor

Trilludagar is truly a one of a kind family festival, organized by Fjallabyggð in collaboration with enthusiastic local fishermen, the Kiwanis Club Skjöldur in Siglufjörður, the rescue team Strákar, and local youth rescue teams from Siglufjörður and Ólafsfjörður.
Festival guests are invited aboard the fishing boats for a trip out on the fjord, where they can try their hand at catching fish. Back at the harbor, the fresh catch is filleted and grilled on the pier, where visitors are welcome to enjoy a taste of freshly grilled fish served with salad.
Throughout the day, the harbor area is filled with music performed by local musicians, inflatable bouncy castles for children, and a variety of fun events taking place around town.
Admission to the festival is free.
